Scope

To specify and develop a prototype board and screen game that teaches permaculture design through role playing (problem-based constructivist learning). The prototype will be in English, Bulgarian and Dutch. Other translations are welcome.

Synopsis

In a imaginary/virtual world players will encounter situations that invite creative solutions to permaculture design challenges. Points are scored on the basis of the quality of the design and the development of ethics. The game can be played as a board game and as a screen game on different operating systems (Open Source: Linux and Android; Propriety: Windows, Mac OSX and iOS). The game rules conform to Dungeon & Dragons Pathfinder Open Gaming License. For the screen version we are considering Neverwinter Nights (Aurora engine) and the Open Source version of Ryzom (NeL engine).

Sinossi

In un immaginario / mondo virtuale i giocatori incontreranno situazioni che invitano soluzioni creative alle sfide progettuali permacultura. I punti sono segnati sulla base della qualità del progetto e lo sviluppo dell'etica. Il gioco può essere giocato come un gioco da tavolo e di come un gioco schermo su sistemi operativi diversi (Open Source: Linux e Android; Correttezza: Windows, Mac OSX e iOS). Le regole del gioco sono conformi a Dungeon & Dragons Pathfinder Open Gaming License. Per la versione cinematografica stiamo considerando Neverwinter Nights (Aurora motore) e la versione Open Source di Ryzom (NeL motore).
